The Wisconsin Auctioneers Association is a non-profit professional Wisconsin corporation/trade association that exists for the purpose of promoting the growth and professionalism of the auction method of marketing and Auctioneering in the State of Wisconsin.
The Mission of the Wisconsin Auctioneers Association is to: Encourage new auctioneers, to enhance skills, knowledge and professionalism of all Wisconsin auctioneers. Promote the concept of the auction method of marketing, both for sale of real and personal properties, to consumers--especially to potential auction buyers and sellers--throughout Wisconsin. To accomplish this, the Wisconsin Auctioneers Association will: Schedule meetings with informational programs and opportunities for fellowship among members. Produce and distribute publications of current association events and auction ideas. Sponsor novice and general auctioneer bid-calling skill activities, improvement and training programs/seminars and other auction-related programs, classes and workshops to increase members' knowledge and skills. Maintain watch over all governmental activities, rules and statutes that may affect the auctioneering profession, and work with such governmental bodies to develop rules favorable to the auction method of marketing. |
